Have a question?
Here is a list of our frequently asked questions. Hopefully you should find an answer. If not, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
DEFERRAL POLICY HAS CHANGED.
NO DEFERRALS PAST FEBRUARY 23, 2023. BIBS AND EVENT ARE ALREADY IN PRODUCTION.
A LITTLE NERVOUS? DON'T WORRY!
Your USAT Certified Race Director will be holding a pre-race briefing on rules, swim, transitions, course overview and more. The briefings will be held at 1pm & 3pm on Saturday Feb 25th.
Meet at the front of the Village Cycle Shoppe.
ALL Athletes are HIGHLY encouraged to attend one of the pre race briefings as there is new and important information about both the bike and run segments of the race.
How do I know if I'm registered?
Please check your e-mail inbox/spam box for "HAKU registration", "HAKU" or "HAKU Receipt". Haku is the name of our registration platform and should you have registered, the system automatically sends receipts to your inbox.
If you were registered by someone else, it would arrive in their inbox.
What about my deferment from last year?
If you deferred form last year, you are NOT automatically entered into the next event. Our system sends out a unique registration link to deferred entry runners to enter themselves into the event. Sometimes, the e-mail gets sent to the spam box that runners usually miss it. Please send us an e-mail if you deferred and we will get you your registration link.
Note: Deferments from 2021 are only valid if you deferred PRIOR to the event. No shows and no written requests for deferrals forfeit their entries.
Do I need a USAT License?
2022 registrations did NOT come with the purchase of the one-day USAT license. If athletes do not have a license, one MUST be purchased at packet pickup or ONLINE HERE (CLICK ME). If you already have one, bring your USAT license (phone image accepted) for validation. In a relay, each athlete must purchase a license.
When do I get my race stuff?
Packet pickup is held one day before the event AND the morning of the event. You may ONLY pick up YOUR OWN packet (family members may not pick up for someone else, unless a minor). This is a USAT rule requirement. We highly encourage athletes to pick up the day BEFORE the event as we require you to show proof of a USAT license.
